Psychojelly Austin Rec Map
Changing the address will update the pin's position.
Map / List Views — Use the toggle in the header to switch between Map (pins on a 3D globe) and List (filterable event list).
Mode Toggle — Switch between Normal (Austin recs), SXSW (event pins), or Both using the toggle in the header.
Filters — Use the sidebar to filter by category, SXSW tags (Music, Film, Interactive, XR, etc.), access type (Badge, Public, Ticketed, RSVP), day/night, and perks. The day toggle defaults to Multi-Day so you can select multiple days at once.
Free Food & Drinks — Events with free food or free drinks are marked with badges in both the detail panel and list view. Use the Perks filter in the sidebar to show only events with free food, free drinks, or both.
Search — Type in the search bar to find events by name, address, speakers, or keywords. Multi-word searches match all terms.
PJ Select — SXSW events are pre-filtered to show only Psychojelly's curated picks. All normal Austin recommendations are always visible.
Favorites — Click the heart icon on any recommendation to save it. Use the "Favorites" button in the sidebar header to filter the map to only your saved spots. Favorites sync across devices when signed in.
Community Picks — Browse what other users have favorited! Use the "Community Picks" dropdown in the sidebar to select a user and see their favorite spots highlighted on the map. Great for discovering new recommendations from the community.
Itinerary — Click the + button on any event's detail panel to add it to your itinerary. The itinerary panel appears on the right side of the map (or bottom on mobile). Drag items to reorder your stops. Click any item to fly to its location. A route line connecting your stops is shown by default — use "Route" to toggle it and "Clear" to empty your itinerary.
Submit — Click "+ Submit" in the sidebar to suggest a new recommendation or SXSW event. An admin will review it, and once approved it appears on the map.
Comments — Click any event and scroll down in the detail panel to read or post comments. No account needed.
Globe Reset — Click the globe icon below the +/- zoom controls to reset the map back to the default Austin overview.
Location — Use the address search bar or GPS button to find your location on the map.
Feature Request
Delete My Data — Permanently delete your account and all associated data (favorites, notifications, comments, and submissions). This cannot be undone.
